I’m Jack
I’m a qualified personal trainer
and I have adhd
Through my own fitness journey, and working with MY clients, I realised that ‘Normal’ approaches to fitness simply don’t work for adhd brains:
> WE GET STUCK IN LOOPS OF EARLY MOTIVATION FOLLOWED BY SUDDEN DISINTEREST.
> WE GET BORED WITH THE SAME ROUTINES.
> WE STRUGGLE WITH NEGATIVE SELF-TALK THAT COMPOUND OUR SETBACKS AND FAILURES.
YET, IN TERMS OF INTERVENTIONS THAT CAN ACTUALLY MAKE A TANGIBLE IMPROVEMENT TO ADHD SYMPTOMS, EXERCISE IS ONE OF THE VERY BEST.
IT’S QUITE THE CRUEL CATCH 22: WE NEED EXERCISE, EVEN MORE THAN MOST, BUT FIND IT MUCH HARDER TO STICK WITH.
And so I created
fit different.
My goal WAS TO CREATE A SPACE To help THOSE WITH ADHD FIND THEIR LOVE FOR FITNESS, INCORPORATE IT INTO THEIR LIVES MORE EASILY, and get the results they’ve always wanted.
